1.1 Methods 方法

本节将简要介绍问卷调查和面试,并解释为什么在这次专业调查中采用问卷调查和面试方法。This section will give a brief introduction of questionnaire and interview and explain why the methods of questionnaire and interview are adopted in this professional enquiry.  


1.1.1 Questionnaire问卷

问卷调查是开展研究现状的一种方法。目的是收集其科学教育财产目标人群的最大累积基本信息。它可以分为描述性研究和分析研究。在决定是否使用问卷调查方法作为研究工具时,应考虑两个主要方面:一是问卷目标是否可达;其次,如果问卷的目标目标是愿意合作的话。调查表使研究人员可以直接从学科获取信息,衡量学科的知识和个人理解,个人偏好和价值观,态度或个人信仰。调查表也可用于查找事实和经验或正在进行的事情。本专业查询的问卷设计如下四个步骤.Questionnaire is a way to do research to achieve the status of excavation. The purpose is to collect the maximum cumulative basic information of a target population of its science education property. It can be divided into descriptive research and analytical study. In deciding whether to use the questionnaire method as a research tool, two major aspects should be considered, firstly, if the target objectives of the questionnaire are reachable; secondly, if the target objectives of the questionnaire are willing to cooperate or not. Questionnaire enables researchers to obtain information directly from the subject, to measure the subject's knowledge and personal understanding, personal preferences and values, attitudes or personal beliefs. Questionnaire can also be used to find the facts and experience or ongoing thing.The questionnaire of this professional enquiry is designed following the four steps as following.

In conclusion, I have learnt that the motivations from the teachers are according to the basic need of the student in the college in China. Additionally, the English backgrounds of the students are not key factors to have influences on the motivations from the teachers in China. Finally, teamwork in the class would be a sounded action to motivate students to study English.
