Colorful World——Cultural Connotation of Color words in English and Chinese Abstract Language belongs to culture. The differences of Sino-west culture are the inevitable phenomenon because of the divergences among society, history , geography , nationality , literature art , religion , convention etc, which result in the divergence of color words understanding and usage between English and Chinese however, everyone has his or her aesthetic sentiment .It could be a significant question to recognize these divergences of cultural language in order to study or grasp English language and facilitate the Sino-west understanding and communication.
