| ） Abstract: Considering the defects left by the traditional theory with the study of quantity and quality, this treatise redefines the concepts of quantity-quality and their changes, holds that quantity-quality and their definitions, their mutual transformations are determined by the layers and the the relation between part and whole of the things. These opinions provide the thoretical support at philosophical level for the mathematical study of society, nature and mind.
