Abstract:Dumping could be backdated to the Mercantilism Age, when Adam Smith was in. Then, with the beginning of the Industrial Revolution and the development of the world economic trade, the contradiction between dumping and Anti-dumping became a “kink” of International economic relationship. And today, it has become an important international trade issue which the world pay attention to.
Dumping has been a hundred of years since the Mercantilism Age. Anti- dumping has been a hundred of years. During this time, it has contradictory between dumping and anti-dumping for many times. This article analysis the origin, development and reasons of dumping and anti-dumping during this period which from the Mercantilism Age to the two world wars.
