Abstract

   In 1719, Robinson Crusoe was published and soon became quite popular. It is said that this novel was the most frequently reprinted beside the Bible, http://www.51lunwen.com/literature/2012/0118/lw201201162035209433.html  even today. Readers are fascinated by its description of Robinson’s adventure which is quite like reality. They admire Robinson much for his adventurous spirit and courage. To critics, it is also a book of great research value for it was written by Daniel Defoe who was a representative of the Enlightenment and a pioneer of novel-writing. The fact that it reflects the spirit of early capitalism is another reason that makes http://www.51lunwen.com/literature/2012/0118/lw201201162035209433.html  this novel gained much attention of researchers. Many researchers did researches either from the aspect of its reflection of capitalism or from the aspect of its influence on the development of fiction. (Daniel Fefoe 1963: 11) But on these two questions, there are still no points of view that can convince all the other researchers in details.
This thesis is going to analyze the spirit of capitalism reflected in this novel and its reason for these reflections by the method of text analysis.

内容摘要

    1917年，《鲁宾逊漂流记》被出版了，并且迅速获得的大量读者。据说，直至今天，《鲁宾逊漂流记》是除圣经以外再版次数最多的一本书。它对鲁宾逊的漂流探险的真实描写使读者们着迷不已，并深深的折服于鲁宾逊的冒险精神和他的勇气。而对于评论家们来说，这又是一本颇具研究价值的小说。一方面，是因为他的作者是启蒙运动的代表人物之一以及他的在小说领域的先锋地位。另一方面，是因为这部小说反映了早期的资本主义精神。至今已经有不少的研究者从这两个方面对这部小说进行研究评论。但是，到目前为止，仍然还没有一种观点能够从细节全面分析并且使大家都能信服。
本文将运用文本分析法对资本主义精神在本文中的体现及有这种体现的原因这两个问题进行分析，解决。
