1 introduction
Human resource is the first resource through which modern enterprises survive and develop. The success of any enterprises is determined by its people, who they are, the way they work together and how they develop. As a result, training and development is central to those organizations who wish to tap into their employees’ talent and benefit from it. Due to无忧论文 【http://www.uklunwen.com】 the changing of Chinese economic and modern technology, employee training plays the key role to the survival and sustainable development of a organization. Researchers have identified and examined that training and development is crucial to developing organizational competitive advantage (e.g. see Raymond, 2002; Stavrou and Brewster, 2005) The gains from training should accrue over a sufficient duration so that the total gains from training exceed the total costs of the training (Rees, 1979). Our firm is devoting increasing amounts of resources into trainings such as sending employees to executive training, however, training work does not obtain the anticipant result due to a lack of systematic plan and effectual evaluation. The training effectiveness is not satisfactory according to a survey of the staffs. This paper reports on problems concerning training efficiency encountered in one of our department-human resource management department.
