Introduction
The land of Italian Republic is nearly 30million square kilometers. Since 1861 when Italian Republic was found, migration and immigration of Italian has happened frequently. With the development of society and economy, Italia has demonstrated the change from a migration exporting country to a migration importing country (Petersen, 1985). From 1861-1931, the first migration climax appeared after the establishment of Republic. At that time, because Italia was a traditional agriculture country with low level of industrialization which resulted in the loss of farmland , so more and more people especially from the north Italia chose to earn their living overseas with a whole family; during the first and second world war, the number of migration was relatively small because of external and internal factors: on the one hand, countries’ economy had been destroyed heavily due to war, and overseas markets were no longer http://www.51lunwen.com/marketing/2009/0621/lw200906210716238604.html  the ideal places for farmers to earn living; on the other hand, Italia itself was strict about domestic migration policy so as to prevent excessive loss of the population; the second migration climax happened after the second war, but some differences could be seen compared with the first time: firstly, the aim of migration was not only to earn living but also to improve the living standard; secondly, the number of migration had been heavily decreased due to the change of migration destination and the non-family-based migration, which had laid foundation for the transformation from migration exporting to migration importing (Zincone, 2006).
