摘要:
市场竞争的日趋激烈,使得产品的生命周期缩短,新产品的开发对企业变得日益重要。但由于新产品本身的创新性,使得这类开发的失败率较高,开发的成本也较高,导致新产品开发的风险很高。为减小新产品开发的风险,需要从项目开始的阶段就开始对产品创新的风险进行评估。开发企业需对自身实力所能承受的风险与新产品开发实施的风险进行比较,选择风险合适的项目。
在本文中,我将提出一个用于决策支持得对新产品开发的风险评估的基本框架。首先,将产品的创新从创新的内容分为技术创新和概念创新,从创新的程度将产品的创新分为改进型创新和突破型创新。新产品的创新变成了新的功能用途和新功能用途的技术实现过程。然后,从技术、市场两方面风险对新产品的开发进行分析。对产品技术风险的评估提出了两个指标,产品复杂度与技术的新度。对产品的市场风险评估提出了熟悉度、易用度、美观度三个指标。接着,从以上的评估体系出发,对不同的新产品的开发从技术可行性、市场接受程度、新产品开发过程中的操作性三方面进行分析,提出评估其中的技术风险、市场风险大小的基本框架,最后,分析了上述新产品开发评估体系在不同行业的不同侧重点。

Abstract:
As the result of fierce competition in the market place, the life time of one single product is shortened. The influence of New Product Development to a company is increasing. According to the innovation of the product itself, the failure rate of such development is high. Given the high cost of this activity, it suggested high risk. In order to reduce the risk of new product development, risk evaluation since the beginning phase of project is beneficial. The developer have to compromise between the risk of new product development and the risk that the company can bear then can they choose the right new product. In this paper, I present a framework to evaluate the risk of new product development which is used to decision making. First, I discuss the innovation of product. Product innovation can be divide into two categories: technical innovation and conceptual innovation on the viewpoint of the content of innovation. And the innovation of new product become the combination of new function and the realization of the new function. Second, I analyze the risk of new product development both in technology and market. Two dimensions are used to assess the risk of technical innovation: product complexity and newness of technology. And three dimensions are presented to evaluate the risk of market: familiarity, operational simplicity and aesthetics. Third, analyze the technical feasibility, market acceptance, operational possibility in development process of the different new product, based on the previous evaluation dimensions. Make a framework of evaluation of the degree of both technical and market risk. The last, discuss the different emphasis when the evaluation system applied to various industries.
