1. Change Strategy Overview
1.1 Culture Defined
To start with, it is necessary to define culture as is the case with every inter-cultural study. The term culture has numerous definitions. According to Ting-Toomey (2003), culture is "a system of knowledge, meanings, and symbolic actions that is shared by the majority of the people in a society". From here, we see that culture influences the way how people think and behave. As members of a society, individuals exemplify to some extent, some collective features of certain group of people. It becomes more observable when individuals from different cultures communicate with each other. 无忧论文 【http://www.uklunwen.com】In this thesis, the example is communication between Chinese and Germans within organizational project team.
